Good afternoon Gentlemen,
Well, we are through or almost through the first round of games in each league. The standings look fairly tight with a few team looking for a stronger second half.
A few things to go over:
- Mid Season draft will go the first week of July. Roster will open up one additional spot, but like always will come down to availability of players in draft.
- We have had some teams in the Open play with players that have not registered. This cannot happen! If it happens again, you will forfeit that game and will lose some of your performance bond. This is for the safety of the player and the league.
- Open Teams – you must have a full set of jerseys by July 1st We cannot keep getting empty game reports because you played with black shirts. You all picked colors at the draft night
- Forfeits – Reminder that this comes out of your performance bond. We moved some games because of the memorial cup, but this was a special case. please do not ask for rescheduled games, it is already hard enough to get fields.
- This brings me to the next point, thank you so much to Rob Piva for working so hard on getting us fields this year. With all of the closures and lack of available times he has done amazing work keeping us on the pitch.
- Smoke and Heat – just a reminder to check the league rules on the website
This should be all for now, I have seen some amazing soccer this year, and I hope everyone is looking forward to the President’s cups!
